What you'll learn

While directing others to rush out, you will gain the skills, knowledge and experience needed to rush in through the Fire Protection Technology microcredential series. The Fire Protection Technology: Interior Operations is the second of three microcredentials in the series. You will learn to attack interior fires through development of key skills in interior operations of fire protection technology such as understanding hose advancement, air consumption, and tactical skills such as forcible entry and ventilation. You will prepare to complete search and rescue for victims and practice self-rescue in survival situations. You will be able to demonstrate the ability to work efficiently with other team members to ensure the best outcomes in emergency situations.
