What you'll learn
Resilience, our ability to adapt to adversity, change, and stress, is a skill we can build and support others in building too. This Psychology of Resilience microcredential is designed to help you understand the building blocks of resiliency and to hone your ability to recognize the differences between non-resilient and resilient thinking. You will gain an understanding of the ways in which anxiety, substance abuse, depression or other disorders color the path to resiliency. You will fine tune your own resiliency skills and then develop plans, programs and approaches to lead to resiliency in those you work to support. Successful completion of this microcredential prepares you for continued study at the bachelor's level and provides in-demand skills to existing professionals working in education, healthcare, social and human services.
