What you'll learn
This Construction Estimating Microcredential provides you with advanced skills in project estimating used to win bids. You will begin with a focus on materials and process, so that you understand the sustainability, and time constraints, related to different construction materials and methods. You will develop a broad understanding of building methods combined with commonly used estimating concepts and practices, including digital, take-off, deriving costs, and database estimating. Successful completion of this microcredential prepares you for continued study and readies those currently in the field to apply for supervisory or estimator positions. This microcredential can also be a great fit for those who are starting or already have their own construction business. Note: This is one of three related microcredentials; completion of one reduces the number of courses required to complete the others.
