As hybrid and electric vehicles (EVs) become more prevalent, automotive professionals must be equipped to work safely with high-voltage electrical systems and lithium-ion batteries. This is the second of two Electric and Hybrid Vehicle Safety Microcredentials that provide training for students, technicians, and industry professionals seeking to build or update essential safety skills across a range of vehicle types. Successful completion of this microcredential prepares students to safely identify, handle, and service hybrid and electric vehicle systems in accordance with industry safety standards, supporting career growth and customer confidence in an evolving automotive field.
